It's important that you find someone who feels like a good fit for you as your therapist, and who you feel you can trust. Try and follow your instincts on this, and you can find out more about me and my services to get a sense for whether I might be a good fit for you.
Feel free to contact me to ask any questions, and to schedule a free, no-obligation 20-minute consultation call where we can start getting to know each other.
I offer one-to-one counselling and psychotherapy to adults (over 18s) in Brighton and Hove and online, either short or long-term. I specialise in working with men, difficult relationships and people-pleasing, and low-mood.
I’m also experienced in working with people of all different backgrounds who are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, angry, or experiencing a range of other difficulties, and you can find out more about my services and who I work with here.
The first session is a chance to talk about what's brought you to therapy, and what you might hope for. You may not be exactly sure what you want or need in therapy, but the first therapy session provides an opportunity to think together about your difficulties and what might be helpful.
I'll ask some questions to start building up a picture of who you are, but there's no pressure to share everything. It’s also a chance for you to ask questions and talk about any concerns.
